NEA considering 10-15% tariff hike (pending ERC approval). Industrial tariff dispute forced 25 large industries to shut (15,000 jobs at risk). NEA collecting Rs 5.95B premium tariff dues from 35 companies. Slab-based residential rates: Rs 9.50/unit for 15-100 units. Open Access is most important power law reform in Nepal history.
